Manual

When renting a car in Europe, know that by default you will be given a manual car. If you want automatic, then you must ask for it and it is more expensive. For more information about driving in Europe, you can go to www.ideamerge.com/motoeuropa/roadsigns/

P.S. Most European countries drive on the right side of the road. Only the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, and Malta drive on the left side of the road.

Parking Garages

Many parking garages in Europe do not have attendants on the way out to whom you pay your fee. What to do?

1) Get a ticket when you enter the garage.
2) Bring the ticket with you when you leave the garage and tour.
3) Before getting back into your car, find the automated parking pay machine.
4) Insert your parking ticket into the machine and pay the amount that is shown. You can do this with cash or charge.
5) Insert your paid parking ticket into the machine at the exit of the parking garage and be on your way.
